The goal of this blog is to give access to resources, diagrams, helpful websites, example solutions, and of course a GREAT CHEMISTRY TUTOR!

 

As a Tutor I have acquired many tools and styles to adapt and approach each individual student’s needs. This blog is to serve a student taking College General Chemistry or High School Chemistry courses. So, after many requests, I have started my “beta” blog!

 

Many of the sessions I have with students are online. Even the sessions I conduct in person, I find myself always using some form of communication via the internet. So, instead of constantly alternating 2 or 3 “flash drives of information” or emailing “websites”….. You will see it all here! TA – DAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .

 

I must admit that I am new to the “blogging world” (I guess I am what they call a “baby blogger”.) This site is constantly is being updated. If you are taking General Chemistry, I really would advise to hold on to this site! If the particular area you are studying in General Chemistry has no information posted, let me know! (Believe me; I most likely have some tool to help you…. I just

have not had the chance to post it yet.)

 

 

You ALWAYS have the option to contact me! Beginning the first week August 2008 every Friday at 7:30 p.m. Central Time. I will conduct FREE tutoring Q & A sessions for 1 to 2 hours hosted on www.dimdim.com ( No software to download to use this site…. they only require you setup a user name). At this time, this weekly group session has opening for the maximum of 5 students to join . Submit a request to be added in the sessions to. danni.online.tutor@gmail.com ( Make sure the submitted request states the date of the session you would like to reserve). I will use the “white board” to write out answers and solutions. I also have “Math Type”…. this allows me to type solutions with the correct math symbols. In addition, in the weekly group meeting I will be able to talk and listen to students.

 

If you would like to arrange private session, please contact at danni.online.tutor@gmail.com. I do charge an hourly rate for private online sessions. However, I conduct private online sessions using the same software but students will also have access to my password protected notes and helpful guides and examples. I will also give you multiple ways to contact me directly and instantly if you are needing urgent help ( there is no fee for this service, with the understanding that this will not be abused by the students.)
